"I have had Sensetel on my phone for a while now in order to evaluate the app before giving it to a friend of mine who is suffering from depression due to the lockdown. To be quite frank, I was somewhat surprised by the results of my own status. Upon looking at the graphs after making calls, I saw that the app had managed to pick up on the variations in my voice. For example, when talking to family and friends there was little if no anxiety but when talking to clients and suppliers I noted that my anxiety levels had risen, depending on what stress I was under at the time. There are a few things that need tweaking, but I am assured they will be attended to. All in all, I am very impressed with the results, and am looking forward to the wrist attachment.
"In answer to the question, did I find it useful for myself, I would definitely say yes. I have various medical issues, one of which is chronic pain due to sciatica, which I have had for over 30 years. At various times of the day, the pain level becomes unbearable, and this is picked up in my voice by the Sensetel app. Stress, as we all know, is detrimental to health, so nowadays I am learning new ways to be more relaxed when these peaks occur, primarily on breathing properly rather than holding my breath while a grit my teeth. This appears to be working on the aforementioned stress levels and actually shows up on the graphs. I quite frankly wasn’t expecting it to be of assistance to me, and am rather pleased that it is."
